Howdy folks. Larry and Claudia Heidbreder offer several different history
programs to the public. Thanks for stopping by and visiting for a spell.
Larry, aka Professor Paisley Heid, trains horses and dogs to help illustrate a message about finding your God given purpose in life. The
Lasso Your Dream program is divided into two segments, one with a religious message and one without for public schools.
Claudia, aka Mizz Claudia Jean, provides schooling to ladies and helps them understand our nation’s past. She coordinates School of the Lady,
living history workshops, for women about society and living in the 1800s.
Our focus is on two areas in our lives, 19th century history and animals. We participate in Texas Revolution and Civil War reenactments
plus events that celebrate the cowboy era. In addition, we provide living history demonstrations at folk festivals and cowboy gatherings.
Working in the living history area motivated Larry to train two Longhorn steers to work as oxen. They demonstrate to the public how the
civilization of early Texas depended on these noble beasts. From his work with the oxen, Larry was inspired to write a historical novel about a
young man that supplies the oxen to pull the cannon to the Battle of San Jacinto.
